We process your personal data in different ways depending on the form of contact, relationship and purpose. Read more below about the different types of treatment.
Purpose
The processing of personal data when purchasing our services aims to complete and administer the purchase process, including payment, delivery and invoicing. Finally, we process your personal data when you answer our satisfaction surveys in connection with the delivery of our services.
Basis for treatment
The processing of personal data takes place on the basis of the agreement between the company and the data subject, cf. Art. of the Data Protection Regulation. 6, subsection 1, letter b (fulfilment of contract). Storage of transaction information will subsequently be processed on the basis of the Bookkeeping Act's obligations regarding transaction traces, cf. Art. of the Data Protection Regulation. 6, subsection 1, letter c.
Categories of personal data
The information collected includes name, address, contact information, payment information, as well as any information about the purchased service.
Recipients of personal data
Personal information may be shared with data processors necessary to fulfill the purchase.
Retention of personal information
The personal information is stored for a period that is necessary to fulfill the contract, including fulfillment of legal requirements such as the Accounting Act, which may require storage for up to 5 years.
Purpose
When contacting us through our contact forms or e-mail, we collect and process personal data in order to be able to respond to the inquiry in question.

We process the collected personal data on the basis of the company's legitimate interest, cf. Data Protection Regulation art. 6, subsection 1, letter f.
Categories of personal data
The collected information includes general contact information such as name, e-mail, telephone as well as a detailed message about the nature of the inquiry. Only personal data is collected that is provided by the person concerned.
Recipients of personal data
When contacting us through our contact forms, we do not pass on personal data to third parties, but we process them through our data processors.
Retention of personal information
The information is deleted or anonymised no later than 36 months after the last contact, unless the contact initiates a collaboration, customer relationship or other relationship of a similar nature.
Automatic decision and profiling
The collected information is used neither for profiling nor for making automatic decisions.
Purpose
When signing up for our newsletter, we collect and process personal data in order to send e-mails with information about updates, services or other news that you have consented to.
Basis for treatment
We process the collected personal data based on your consent, cf. Data Protection Regulation art. 6, subsection 1, letter a. This consent can be withdrawn at any time by writing to us or by unsubscribing at the bottom of the newsletter. If you withdraw your consent, documentation for the consent will be kept after Unitas' documentation obligation according to the marketing rules, cf. Data Protection Regulation art. 6, subsection 1, letter c.
We can also send you service messages that are relevant to you as a customer or partner. The information is processed on the basis of the fulfillment of the contract, cf. Art. of the Data Protection Regulation. 6, subsection 1, letter b.

The purpose of processing personal data is to be able to deliver targeted marketing, including sending relevant offers, newsletters and information about services that may be of interest to the recipient.
Basis for treatment
The processing of personal data for marketing purposes takes place on the basis of your consent when we approach you through direct marketing or through targeted marketing on other websites, cf. Article 6, subsection of the Data Protection Regulation. 1, letter a. Consent is given in connection with signing up for newsletters or other consent text.
If we market similar products through direct marketing or use your information to improve our marketing initiatives in connection with, for example, previous purchases, our legitimate interest in marketing our services is used as processing authority, cf. Article 6, para. 1, letter f.

The personal data is stored for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the marketing purposes for which it was collected or until consent to processing is withdrawn. In the event of withdrawal of consent, the information is deleted without undue delay, unless it is included as documentation for marketing consent. In that case, the information will be deleted 24 months after the last use.

The collected information is used neither for profiling nor for making automatic decisions.
Purpose
When you visit our social media pages (LinkedIn), we collect information about your interaction with our profiles to understand how our content engages users and to respond to inquiries. In addition, we can carry out campaigns on social media for the purpose of marketing our products and services.
Basis for treatment
We process the collected personal data on the basis of the company's legitimate interest in answering your inquiry, cf. Data Protection Regulation art. 6, subsection 1, letter f. All marketing and collection of your personal data in this connection takes place on the basis of your consent, cf. Art. of the Data Protection Regulation. 6, subsection 1, letter a.

The collected information includes name and corresponding personal data related to the registered person's user profile on the platform in question.
Distribution of responsibilities
When we process your personal data in connection with our pages on social media, your personal data is previously collected by the social media. Here we assume joint data responsibility.
When we process your personal data in connection with campaigns and answering your inquiries, we assume the role of data controller.
Recipients of personal data
We share information with the social media platforms, which themselves act as data controllers in certain scenarios. Here they have their own policies for processing personal data. We also hand over the information to our data processors who help with analysis and marketing activities.
Retention of personal information
Personal information collected via social media is stored for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purpose of the processing. The information can be stored for a longer period in anonymized form for statistical and analytical purposes.
Purpose
We process your personal data as part of the recruitment process in order to be able to assess applicants for vacant positions in our company and to be able to contact you during the recruitment process.
Basis for treatment
The processing of your personal data takes place on the basis of your application after Unitas' legitimate interest in assessing and selecting candidates, which is also in the applicant's interest, cf. Data Protection Regulation art. 6, subsection 1, letter f. If you consent to the storage of your personal data for more than 6 months, the processing will take place pursuant to Article 6, subsection of the Data Protection Regulation. 1, letter a.
Categories of personal data
The information we collect includes your contact information, such as name, email address and phone number. In addition, we collect your application, your CV and any attached documents, for example educational certificates, transcripts, certifications and, depending on the position, your driving licence.
Recipients of personal data
Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent, but can be left to our data processors who assist in the recruitment process, e.g. recruitment platforms or HR systems.
Retention of personal information
Your information is stored for up to 6 months after the end of the recruitment process, unless you have consented to longer storage for future job opportunities.
Automatic decision and profiling
The collected information is used neither for profiling nor for making automatic decisions.
Transfer to recipients in third countries
In some cases, it may be necessary to transfer your personal data to recipients in countries outside the EU, including countries without similar data protection laws. These transfers will only take place when necessary for the purposes stated in this privacy statement or as required by applicable law. The transfers only take place in continuation of the use of our data processors in order to be able to offer our services and products.
We take appropriate measures to ensure that your personal data is adequately protected during such transfers. Your data will mainly be processed in countries where the Commission has decided on the adequacy of the level of protection. If your information is transferred to third countries without an adequacy decision, standard contract provisions approved by the European Commission are used. Please note that withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. It also does not affect the processing of your personal data based on other lawful grounds, such as compliance with legal obligations or the pursuit of legitimate interests.

Finally, we are obliged to inform any recipient to whom the personal data is disclosed of any correction or deletion or restriction of processing, unless this proves impossible or is disproportionately difficult. We will inform you about who has received a copy of the personal data if you request it.
