The process
Unitas will guide you safely through the process towards obtaining ISO27001 certification and ensure that your documentation does not end up being an unnecessarily large paper tiger, but is kept at a necessary level, and is suitable for daily work. We are fully aware of the necessary level of documentation, control measures and proof of effectiveness required to achieve the coveted certification.
We help you define the scope of the certification, so you ensure that the desired and required areas are certified. It is not always appropriate to simply include all elements of ISO27001 at certification level due to possible unnecessary complexity and economy.
Did you know that..?
ISO27001 is in its latest version from 2022, but originally dates from 2005. Since then, the standard has been updated several times to adapt to new requirements and challenges in cyber security and information security.

You do not need to be certified in the full ISO27001, but can content yourself with relevant areas.

Re-certification takes place at 3-year intervals – there are therefore high demands for discipline in the intervening period.

It requires an ISMS to ensure ongoing ISO27001 compliance.
Internal and external audit
In preparation for the external audit, we ensure together with you that the internal audit is completed and that all necessary preparations are in place. We will of course be present during the external audit and assist in presenting the necessary documentation as required.

Unitas offers an ongoing service where we help you ensure that checks are not overlooked, documentation is kept up-to-date and in this way ensures that your initial certification does not 'sand off' over time, which can make a renewal of the certification after 3 years potentially problematic .
